Maggie von Menzig is a wonderful 4-5 year old German Shepherd. (mix?).  She gets WGSR's "Rookie of the Month" award.  This charmer, about 21 inches from shoulder to paw, was thrown into the deep end at an offsite adoption event on her first weekend.  Not only did she ace it, everyone was raving about how fantastic she did.  When she got to the Rescue, the raves continued from the employees to the volunteers.  Maggie is such a sweet girl, people and dog friendly and always happy.  She walks great on the lead but more than that, she seems to really enjoy the walking experience.  Maybe she enjoys the company because she craves human attention.  But hold on....she also loves to give kisses to the other dogs in her playgroup.  This is one very special lady.
